Provision of education in purpose-built schools positively influences learning and is a constant focus of our efforts aimed at ensuring a quality education for the underprivileged. We have housed many of our schools in our own seismic-compliant buildings, but some schools still run in makeshift premises.
In most cases, the local communities donate the required pieces of land. Thus, the cost of land is usually not included in the budget required for construction of a school. Generally, a donation of PKR9 million helps 250 children have a purpose-built school consisting of seven classrooms, staff offices and toilets as well as boundary wall.
However, the cost of construction varies for different regions in accordance with their earthquake hazard zoning and climate conditions.
Help us provide safe schools for orphans and underprivileged children – a great Sadaqah-e-Jariyah.
Schools are named after their sponsors.
